Ways To Wear Your Party Dress After The Party

I hope you’ve had a fantastic holiday season full of family, friends and fashion.

In last week’s post we discussed “How to dress for a party.”   When the party is finished and the guests are all gone, don’t just put your party outfit in the closet.  Here is some inspiration for how to put your fabulous outfit to good use.

1. Accessorize:

You can use your party pearls with a casual outfit or even belt a sweater over your party dress.  The red dress pictured under the white sweater below is one of the super popular tank dresses which is an amazing multitask-er.   See how we style this even more ways in the posts “The Tank Dress For Fall” and “1 Tank Dress 5 Ways”.

You can easily take almost any dress or top from evening to day by simply wearing it over denim.  If you’ve been following the blog you know about the fabulous Cello denim from The Sugar Ribbon.  In case you’ve missed all the chatter, you’ll want to check out the posts “Get Your Denim Game On”and “The Gift of Comfort”.Sweater with denim

This is my favorite way to transition dresses.  Play with your sweaters, dresses, denim, accessories and leggings.  Try different color and texture combinations to make your one outfit stretch to multiple occasions.

Layer ItAs always, ff you love these styles you can find all of these items while supplies last at The Sugar Ribbon in downtown Hastings Michigan.  The lovely ladies at the boutique are waiting help show you how to make one top or dress fit multiple occasions.

Wishing you a meaningful holiday season! ~Heather
